About This Role
- Own the technical engagement with Global Capability Centers (GCCs) in India to accelerate adoption and success with Snowflake's data platform.
- Provide hands-on technical expertise including demos, proofs-of-concept, architecture consulting, and implementation support for clients throughout the sales cycle.
- Collaborate across functions such as Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing to improve solutions, run training, and represent Snowflake at customer or industry events.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years experience in customer-facing solution engineering or technical sales roles.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong expertise in modern data stacks including ETL/ELT, data warehouse/lake, data science, and proficiency with SQL and Python.
- Experience working with large global accounts, GSIs, or Global Capability Centers and pre-sales experience in data-related technology products.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced with technical presentations to both technical and executive audiences, capable of creating and nurturing technical champions within client accounts.
- Familiarity with large-scale database technologies (e.g., Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum, Hadoop) and enterprise technology ecosystems, preferably with BFSI domain exposure.
- Strategic thinker who keeps pace with evolving data and analytics technologies and can effectively link Snowflake's solutions to business value.
