About This Role
- Own engineering strategy and execution for core product content processing systems powering Walmart's digital product experiences globally.
- Lead evolution of scalable pipelines processing product content from suppliers, sellers, and brands with focus on accuracy, consistency, and quality at scale.
- Define and execute multi-year technology roadmap balancing platform investments and business priorities, collaborating with cross-functional leaders.
Minimum Requirements
- 18+ years of technology and engineering leadership experience, including leading managers and senior engineers.
- Strong experience in building and operating large-scale distributed systems focused on reliability, availability, performance, security, and operational excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience Required: 18+ years in technology and engineering leadership roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven track record leading platform, commerce, or enterprise product engineering teams delivering large-scale customer outcomes.
- Strong architectural judgment across modern software platforms including backend languages (Java, Python, Go, Rust) and cloud/data-intensive systems.
- Experience developing engineering leaders and high-performing teams with a focus on ownership, engineering excellence, and operational discipline.
