About This Role
- Manage and maintain mainframe z/OS systems including installation, configuration, patches, and production support to ensure platform reliability and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve system issues such as failures, freezes, job abends, and support disaster recovery activities including GDPS environments and flip-and-stay recovery.
- Contribute technical expertise to mainframe modernization and migration initiatives while participating in 24/7 on-call rotation for production system support.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on Mainframe z/OS system programming experience including installation, configuration, maintenance, and production support.
- Experience with z/OS maintenance, patches, SYSRES builds, PTF application, license key updates, and disaster recovery drills.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve system failures and performance issues, knowledge of GDPS and disaster recovery methods including flip-and-stay model.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in mainframe z/OS system programming.
