About This Role
- Design and implement services, adapters, and agents with clear interfaces and strong test coverage.
- Migrate and refactor legacy .NET Framework components to modern .NET while preserving existing behavior.
- Build secure, observable, and resilient unattended components for deployment at customer sites, and participate in code reviews, design discussions, release support, and mentoring peers.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in software development.
- Strong production experience with C# and .NET Framework 4.x and modern .NET (including .NET 8+).
- Experience with ASP.NET Core, Worker Services, Windows services, and cross-platform hosting on Windows/Linux containers.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience modernizing legacy .NET applications including migrating away from System.Web/OWIN/WCF dependencies.
- Proficient in REST API design, authentication/authorization, and database technologies (PostgreSQL with EF Core/Dapper, SQL Server, SQLite).
- Comfortable building reliable, testable, and maintainable components including familiarity with async programming, dependency injection, unit/integration testing, and structured logging.
