About This Role
- Automate and enhance internal audit processes including SOX testing, control validation, and workpaper standardization to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Design and implement data analytics and AI solutions to increase audit coverage, risk identification, and continuous monitoring.
- Act as liaison between Internal Audit, IT, and business functions to ensure alignment on systems, data, and processes while mentoring team members in analytics and emerging technologies.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Power BI development and administration, with 2+ years in SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit methodology.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, and experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools.
- Experience with Generative AI platforms and data automation tools; familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and workflow automation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in applying automation and AI technologies (RPA, GenAI, machine learning) in audit environments to deliver scalable solutions.
- Strong business and IT acumen with ability to understand systems architecture, data flows, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Background in Big 4 or consulting preferred with proven stakeholder influence and change management skills.
