About This Role
- Build and maintain optimized, highly available database platforms with automation for deployment and configuration.
- Lead or assist product delivery teams in troubleshooting, database environment maintenance, and ensuring secure data management.
- Provide supervisory and technical leadership to engineers, support UK business hours and on-call out-of-hours DBA duties.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience as Senior SQL Server DBA with MS SQL Server 2014 or later.
- Experience supporting PostGreSQL in an enterprise environment and delivering database migrations/upgrades.
- Proven skill in High Availability/Disaster Recovery technologies and replication configurations.
- Hybrid work model requiring at least two days per week onsite in UK office.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in DevOps, Agile methodologies, with strong automation and troubleshooting skills in database environments.
- Capable of leading technical teams and bridging development and operations for database solutions.
- Comfortable working with sensitive data securely and maintaining compliance with standards like SOX and PCI.
