About This Role
- Port embedded applications and services across hardware platforms and migrate to newer Yocto/Linux releases.
- Debug Linux OS and application issues on embedded platforms.
- Develop and maintain embedded software using Python with integration of firmware flashing, docker containers, and OTA update frameworks.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python development and Linux platform knowledge.
- Experience with debugging Linux OS and application issues on embedded platforms.
- Notice period: 0-15 days; location requirement: must work from Gurugram office at least 3 days a week.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working with embedded platforms involving Ethernet, Wi-Fi, USB, UART, OTA update frameworks like mender.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and tools like GitLab.
- Comfortable working in scrum/agile teams and effective peer collaboration in a hybrid office setting.
