About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for wearable devices and companion mobile apps.
- Build and integrate automated test setups covering functional, performance, reliability, and stress testing across the product lifecycle.
- Triage failures, perform root-cause analysis with cross-functional teams, maintain test environments, and create technical documentation and dashboards for stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering/Electronics or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years experience in product validation, systems test, or hardware/software integration for consumer electronics (wearables, mobile, XR/AR).
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in test frameworks such as pytest.
- Hands-on experience with Android/iOS device debugging, mobile UI automation tools, serial/TCP/IP/USB communication, and familiarity with lab equipment and hardware debugging.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in testing wearable consumer electronics with strong cross-domain technical skills integrating hardware, firmware, and software.
- Proven ability to build robust, scalable, and maintainable automation pipelines and familiarity with CI/CD infrastructure.
- Capable of independently managing complex test environments, performing root-cause analysis, and delivering clear documentation and reports.
