About This Role
- Own end-to-end technical delivery of complex retail technology projects including solution design, code review, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on engagement with Python and .NET codebases, cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), and CI/CD pipelines to ensure technical quality and unblock delivery.
- Serve as technical liaison to client engineering teams, addressing technical risks, cloud service evaluations, and embedding DevSecOps practices into delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years IT/engineering experience with substantial hands-on Python and/or .NET coding or architecture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong working knowledge and direct implementation experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services including compute, storage, networking, and managed databases.
- Hands-on experience designing and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI; containerization (Docker/Kubernetes); blue-green/canary deployments; and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Technically deep operator comfortable directly reviewing and debugging code, cloud architectures, and deployment pipelines rather than managing via delegation.
- Experience delivering technology solutions in the retail domain, specifically with omnichannel commerce, POS integration, supply chain, or customer engagement platforms.
- Proven ability to independently produce technical documentation and perform risk assessments while coordinating lightweight project logistics focused on ensuring technical delivery.
