About This Role
- Manage, monitor and maintain databases including associated OS and resource management to ensure availability and performance per company standards.
- Oversee database operations for production and non-production environments including installation, configuration, upgrades, and security.
- Implement and support AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services, database automation with Terraform, and collaborate with software and vendor teams for complex issue resolution and performance optimization.
Minimum Requirements
- Typically 10+ years of relevant experience in database engineering or related roles.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Must work 100% onsite in office (no remote work option).
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL databases and AWS services including RDS, Aurora; knowledge of DevOps tools like Terraform, CloudFormation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior-level engineer with deep expertise in multi-cloud database environments, specifically AWS and Oracle Cloud.
- Experienced in supporting high availability, load balancing, failover configurations, and database migrations.
- Comfortable operating in a 24/7 environment managing multiple complex projects with strong coordination across IT and business stakeholders.
