About This Role
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain UI and API automation tests and reusable frameworks using Playwright (JavaScript) and Selenium (Java).
- Drive automation activities independently including troubleshooting, defect root cause analysis, and task completion within Agile teams.
- Integrate and execute automation suites through CI/CD pipelines, continuously improving coverage, reliability, and maintainability.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript) and Selenium (Java).
- Practical knowledge of UI and API automation framework development and API testing.
- Job Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, or Coimbatore; Work Mode: Hybrid.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in developing scalable and reusable automation frameworks with deep programming skills in JavaScript and Java.
- Capable of independently managing automation lifecycles including identifying risks and implementing fixes in CI/CD environments.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams including QA, development, and product stakeholders.
