About This Role
- Own and operate Microsoft Fabric Data & Reporting Platform infrastructure ensuring high availability, security, and operational reliability across Dev/UAT/Prod environments.
- Manage hybrid connectivity between internal systems and Fabric platform, including AWS-hosted gateways and VPN configurations, ensuring production-grade uptime.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enforce platform access controls, implement monitoring and alerting, and handle onboarding of new data sources and customers, delivering monthly capacity and cost reports.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in platform engineering, cloud engineering, or data DevOps with production cloud infrastructure uptime responsibility.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric platform administration, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Terraform for infrastructure as code, and AWS EC2/VPC/CloudWatch management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field.
- Willingness to occasionally visit Chennai office quarterly (self-funded); ability to communicate effectively across global distributed teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior-level platform engineer capable of end-to-end ownership of cloud data platform with strong operational rigor and incident response mindset.
- Expertise in hybrid cloud connectivity, identity and access management (Entra ID/Azure AD), and automation using scripting and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Experience working in complex, highly available, multi-environment data platform settings with production-grade reliability requirements.
