About This Role
- Lead finance and accounting operations for multiple US-based client portfolios, focusing on US GAAP compliance, payroll accounting, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting accuracy.
- Ensure timely delivery and quality of accounting processes including reconciliations, month-end closings, payroll general ledger integration, client billing, and audit support.
- Drive process standardization, internal controls strengthening, automation initiatives, team leadership, and client relationship management within a BPO/shared services environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; advanced qualifications like M.Com, MBA Finance, CA Inter, CPA preferred.
- Approximately 15 years of relevant Finance & Accounting experience with demonstrated expertise in US GAAP, payroll accounting, payroll-to-general-ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience managing accounting teams and delivering services in US-focused BPO/shared services/PAYROLL/PEO environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, reconciliation analysis) and effective English communication skills; availability for overlap with US business hours.

- Comfortable interfacing directly with US clients for financial reporting reviews, issue resolution, and escalation management.
