About This Role
- Lead design and implementation of automated test frameworks for ETL/ELT pipelines and data platforms.
- Validate source-to-target data reconciliation, transformation logic, and business rules ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Drive test automation, stakeholder engagement, and integration of tests with CI/CD pipelines across cloud-based data engineering solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-9 years of ETL testing and quality assurance experience in data pipelines and platforms.
- Strong proficiency in ETL concepts, data warehousing, UNIX, and advanced SQL for complex data validation.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Python, PyTest, PySpark, Robot Framework, or TestNG.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in testing at database, file, and API levels for both structured and semi-structured data.
- Skilled in integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
- Familiar with various ETL tools (Informatica, Ab Initio, Talend, DataStage, dbt) and modern data testing frameworks (Great Expectations, Deequ, Soda).
