About This Role
- Lead design, execution, and automation of test solutions for complex data platforms ensuring data integrity and performance of ETL pipelines.
- Develop scalable test cases and validation frameworks using SQL and Python, collaborate with data architects, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into test scripts.
- Mentor junior testers, enforce best practices, and evolve testing strategy integrated into CI/CD pipelines to support agile delivery and rapid innovation.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years hands-on software testing experience focusing on data and ETL environments.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, data validation, and performance tuning.
- Strong Python programming skills for test automation and data manipulation.
- Location: Bangalore; Salary range: INR 20-25 LPA.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in creating automated test frameworks and tools for ETL/data pipelines with exposure to Informatica, Talend, or DataStage.
- Skilled in analyzing defects, performing data reconciliation, and driving continuous improvement in test strategies.
- Familiar with Agile or DevOps practices and integrating testing into CI/CD workflows with effective mentoring and leadership in testing initiatives.
