About This Role
- Enhance reliability and operational excellence of mission-critical systems through software engineering, automation, and proactive failure prevention.
- Develop and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems and automation for deployments, infrastructure operations, and incident response.
- Leverage AI capabilities and engineering best practices (e.g. chaos engineering, observability, SLOs/SLIs) to improve system resilience, incident diagnostics, and operational workflows.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related technical disciplines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Kotlin, or Python and experience developing production-quality distributed applications and automation tools.
- Experience with application observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Git), and familiarity with resilience engineering practices (NALSD, chaos engineering, SLOs/SLIs).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in designing, developing, and operating resilient, scalable distributed systems, especially in payment or customer-facing applications.
- Familiar with AI-assisted software engineering and generative AI concepts to enhance reliability and automation workflows.
- Comfortable working independently on moderately complex engineering tasks and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
