About This Role
- Lead and scale multiple engineering teams building Personalization and Recommendation platforms powering content discovery and user experiences across FOX's digital products.
- Define engineering strategy, drive architecture for scalable, resilient recommendation services, and oversee delivery of business-critical initiatives aligned with digital product vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML-powered personalization services, lead organizational planning including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years leading multiple engineering teams or organizations.
- Proven experience in scalable backend platforms and distributed systems for millions of users, specifically personalization, recommendation, or content discovery platforms.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native development (AWS or similar), microservices, event-driven architectures, and experience working with ML/DS teams to productionize models.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior engineering leader experienced managing Engineering Managers and Senior Technical Leaders in AI/ML-driven personalization and recommendation systems.
- Strategic thinker capable of aligning engineering investments with business and product goals in digital media or consumer-facing platforms.
- Experienced in building high-availability, scalable services with strong operational excellence, Agile and DevOps practices, and cross-team collaboration.
