About This Role
- Own the architecture and technical roadmap of the core backend product, aligning with business strategy and platform vision.
- Lead large cross-cutting initiatives including platform modernization, cloud-native evolution, and framework upgrades from ideation through production.
- Act as final technical authority on scalability, performance, security, and data integrity; mentor senior engineers and enforce engineering standards across multiple teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a lead engineering role on an enterprise-scale product.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java 17+, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, SQL (PostgreSQL or comparable), REST API design, distributed systems, and AWS cloud services.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing strategies, and technical leadership of multi-team initiatives required.
