About This Role
- Design and manage hybrid load balancing architectures spanning on-premises, private clouds, and multiple public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Administer and optimize enterprise load balancing platforms including F5 BIG-IP, VMware Avi, and native cloud load balancers, ensuring secure and reliable traffic distribution.
- Automate provisioning, certificate management, and policy enforcement using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages.
Minimum Requirements
- 8-12 years of total network engineering experience with at least 5 years specializing in F5 BIG-IP engineering.
- Proficiency with enterprise load balancers: F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM/DNS, ASM, APM), VMware Avi, AWS/Azure cloud-native balancers.
- Hands-on skills in load balancing algorithms, Kubernetes ingress controllers, HAProxy tuning, and network troubleshooting (L3/L4).
- Experience with automation tools: Ansible, Python, Terraform for load balancer management and certificate lifecycle.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior network engineer comfortable leading complex, cross-environment load balancing solutions encompassing physical, virtual, containerized, and cloud infrastructures.
- Experienced in multi-cloud load balancing architectures and security integrations such as WAF, DDoS mitigation, and SSL/TLS certificate management.
- Practitioner of infrastructure automation and scripting to enhance deployment efficiency and platform reliability.
