About This Role
- Lead architecture and technical vision for high-throughput, low-latency Java/Spring Boot backend services across multiple teams.
- Drive design and implementation of distributed, event-driven systems using Redis, Kafka, and cloud-native technologies, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Guide cross-team technical initiatives end-to-end, mentor engineers, and establish engineering best practices with healthcare compliance and AI integration focus.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years backend engineering experience, especially in large-scale distributed systems.
- Expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, JVM internals, concurrency, and performance tuning.
- Strong knowledge of Redis, relational and NoSQL databases, Kafka, microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AI engineering applications (LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, MCP) and using AI coding tools in development.

- Experienced technical leader able to influence architecture and mentor across multiple teams without direct authority.
- Deep domain experience in backend distributed systems with practical AI integration skills and understanding of healthcare data compliance.
