About This Role
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure backend services and REST APIs primarily in Java 11+ with microservices architecture.
- Build, administer, and troubleshoot cloud-native applications using AWS services and Kubernetes, including managing CI/CD pipelines and production support.
- Lead code reviews, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and take ownership of team-level delivery outcomes in an Agile environment.
Minimum Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional software development experience focused on Java-based backend development.
- Proficient with Java 11+, AWS cloud services (Lambda, EC2, ECS, SNS, SQS, IAM, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, API Gateway), Kubernetes, and microservices design.
- Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, production deployment, testing (JUnit, TDD), and certificate lifecycle management.
- Ability to work independently, support production environments, and participate in Agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced backend engineer comfortable owning full software development lifecycle and driving team-level deliverables with accountability.
- Strong in building and operating cloud-native microservices on AWS, with hands-on Kubernetes and DevOps expertise.
- Skilled in mentoring, architectural discussions, and fostering engineering best practices in Agile settings.
