About This Role
- Develop, optimize, and maintain highly scalable data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.
- Maintain and enhance stability, reliability, and high availability of existing data systems and services.
- Design and implement data architectures and services aligned with product/business needs, including integrations with third-party clients and enforcing data governance and security.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline from a Tier 1/2 institution.
- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python (preferred), Golang, or Java.
- Experience with messaging platforms (Kafka, RMQ, SQS), relational/NoSQL datastores (MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Cassandra, ScyllaDB, HBase, Redis, Aerospike), and large-scale distributed systems architecture.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong expertise in backend architectures with experience in microservices, API gateways, and service observability in 24/7 high-uptime systems (99.99%+).
- Skilled in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker), and modern backend stacks (Go, Python, Java, Node.js).
- Capable of owning projects end-to-end, articulating complex technical concepts across teams, and working across global teams and time zones.
