About This Role
- Manage end-to-end financial statement preparation and regulatory reporting for investment company clients ensuring timely audit/review submissions.
- Perform reviews of client financial statements and regulatory filings, manage client relationships, and oversee adherence to controls and procedures.
- Lead coordination across multiple departments including global offshoring teams, manage risk, coach staff, and drive automation improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Mutual Fund/Hedge Fund Financial Reporting, accounting, or finance with prior staff management experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Economics with specialization in Business, Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience; professional qualification such as CA/CPA/ACCA preferred.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS is required.
- Work schedule includes shifts overlapping US, APAC, and EMEA hours; flexible shift timing required.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing complex financial reporting and regulatory compliance for mutual funds and hedge funds with knowledge of fund structures including master-feeder and 40 Act funds.
- Demonstrates leadership in coordinating cross-departmental and global offshore teams to deliver client requirements and ensure quality control.
- Strong technical proficiency with financial reporting tools and automation capabilities, with ability to proactively manage risk and suggest process improvements.
