About This Role
- Serve as a servant leader for multiple Agile teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing backlog with product owners to deliver high-quality software increments.
- Coordinate to resolve dependencies and impediments, and improve team dynamics, performance, and continuous improvement using Lean-Agile and SAFe principles.
- Coach teams and junior scrum masters on Agile practices, promote a Lean-Agile mindset, and contribute to organizational Agile maturity and Communities of Practice.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- SAFe Certified Scrum Master certification required within 180 days of hire.
- 1-3 years in an Agile environment or 4+ years in a project environment; Minimum 2 years experience in Scrum Master role or 1 year at Scrum Master Level I or 4+ years in a servant-leader role.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum of 1-3 years Agile environment or equivalent project experience as stated.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working with Commercial Insurance operations and Property & Casualty (P&C) systems preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders and foster trust and decentralized decision-making within teams.
- Comfortable mentoring and coaching teams and junior scrum masters on Agile/SAFe principles and able to lead moderately complex teams with system integrations and cross-team dependencies.
