About This Role
- Lead the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) capability technically within Production Operations, providing day-to-day technical direction, coaching, and prioritization support to SRE engineers without formal people management.
- Own major production incident coordination including triage, stakeholder communication, escalation, recovery tracking, and post-incident review to improve reliability and operational readiness.
- Govern production release readiness and controls, establish SRE standards and best practices, and drive improvements in observability, automation, resilience, and operational readiness.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, cloud operations, platform engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or technical production operations with senior-level technical leadership and ownership.
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including observability tooling like Datadog, CloudWatch, Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and proficiency in scripting/programming for automation.
- Demonstrated experience leading major production incidents and software release/change governance including readiness checks, deployment coordination, rollback planning, and audit-ready traceability.

- Comfortable operating in a global, cross-time-zone product environment with proven ability to lead high-pressure incident response and communicate clearly to technical teams and senior leadership.
- Deep expertise in incident management, release governance, observability engineering, and infrastructure as code automation in complex AWS cloud-native settings.
