About This Role
- Design, build, and support cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes environments, and containerized applications within the thinkorswim ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions and automate CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
- Drive operational readiness and production support by troubleshooting complex issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing reliability and observability improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering, cloud engineering, or DevOps experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP, GKE, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in large-scale distributed enterprise Java applications with strong DevOps and SRE support skills.
- Skilled in cross-team collaboration within Agile environments and resolving technical dependencies with Architecture, Security, and CloudOps teams.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled engineering techniques such as prompt engineering, LLM integrations, or MCP frameworks.
