About This Role
- Support and deliver defined platform engineering tasks within an AI production environment under guidance from senior engineers.
- Maintain runbooks, FAQs, and onboarding materials to support platform health and institutional knowledge.
- Develop skills and grow towards full Platform Engineer responsibilities focusing on AI-native tools and cloud platform services.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Approximately 2 years of experience or relevant internship in software engineering, cloud platforms, or DevOps.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL; working knowledge of at least one cloud platform (preferably GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools and basic CI/CD pipelines; daily use of AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Comfortable working in an AI-first coding environment using AI coding assistants as the primary development method.
- Familiarity or interest in cloud-native infrastructure including GitOps, container technologies (Docker, Cloud Run/GKE), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Aspires to grow from associate to full platform engineer by learning core cloud services (especially GCP) and security practices.
