About This Role
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications and microservices with a focus on performance and resilience.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and enterprise platform connections including event streaming and legacy systems.
- Provide L3 production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and security compliance for financial services applications.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience relevant to Java backend engineering.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, RESTful API development, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Role requires working on-site in Chennai at a U.S. Bank location at least 3 days per week; shift timings 11 AM - 8 PM.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in building enterprise-grade, scalable, and secure backend systems with microservices and event-driven architectures.
- Proficient in CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud platform technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with production support experience.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments collaborating with cross-functional teams and aligning with enterprise architecture standards.
