About This Role
- Maintain and enhance a GIS-based platform supporting underwriting, claims, and enterprise risk management through APIs and UI components.
- Develop and optimize REST backend services using Java and Spring Boot, including managing ArcGIS platform installations and Oracle geodatabases.
- Create spatial data management solutions with ArcGIS and Oracle, and develop automation scripts using Python to support GIS functionalities.
Minimum Requirements
- 2-4 years of software engineering experience with backend development expertise.
- Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Python, and PL/SQL with experience in GIS tools, especially ESRI ArcGIS.
- Familiarity with RESTful API development, Agile methodologies, and Oracle database management for GIS data.
- Location requirement: Hyderabad, India (onsite).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working on GIS platforms in risk management or insurance domains.
- Strong technical skills combining backend Java development with spatial data handling and automation in Python.
- Comfortable working in Agile teams maintaining enterprise-grade software with global collaboration.
