About This Role
- Own end-to-end data lifecycle activities including sourcing, basic validation, enrichment, and delivery of transaction-related data following SOPs and escalation protocols.
- Analyze M&A transactions, capital market activity, and restructuring events to generate structured datasets and insights with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Leverage data analytics and AI (including GenAI models) to automate data extraction, summarization, and normalization, contributing to process improvement and data quality enhancement.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate (BBA/B.Com/BMS) or Post-Graduate/MBA in Finance as major specialization with good academic record.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in data operations, research, or related roles; internships count; experience in Mergers, Acquisitions, IPOs, Fixed Income Offerings preferred.
- Familiarity with structured/unstructured data sources (Excel, PDFs, filings, news, vendor feeds) and beginner knowledge of SQL/Excel for querying and reconciling data.
- Strong operational discipline with attention to detail; awareness of automation and GenAI tools and ability to follow prescribed usage patterns.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Candidate with exposure to capital markets and financial transactions domain including M&A and capital market activity analysis.
- Experience or strong interest in working with AI-enabled workflows and automation pipelines to improve data operations efficiency.
- Analyst level with 1–3 years experience capable of managing data sourcing and validation independently while adhering to SOPs.
