About This Role
- Develop and maintain high-quality native Android apps using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for connected-device products.
- Integrate apps with external hardware over Bluetooth Low Energy and Wi-Fi, ensuring reliable device communication.
- Implement modern app architectures (MVVM/MVI, clean architecture), write tests, conduct code reviews, and optimize app performance and stability.
Minimum Requirements
- 4–7 years of professional Android development experience with strong Kotlin skills.
- Hands-on expertise in Jetpack Compose, Android Jetpack components, Coroutines/Flow, Retrofit/OkHttp, and local storage libraries like Room.
- Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt, Dagger, or Koin.
- Knowledge of Bluetooth, location, runtime permissions, and background/foreground services management in Android.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in integrating Android apps with smart glasses, wearables, AR devices, or similar connected hardware.
- Skilled in BLE protocols including GATT services, scanning, pairing, and reconnection strategies.
- Comfortable working in Agile teams with CI/CD pipelines and multi-module Gradle build setups.
