About This Role
- Manage end-to-end strategic sourcing and procurement of HV and LV cables, electrical panels, motors, and related electrical components.
- Develop and onboard new suppliers, conduct supplier evaluations, and lead commercial negotiations to secure competitive pricing and terms.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing activities with technical and business requirements, monitor supplier performance, and maintain procurement data in ERP systems.
Minimum Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in sourcing/procurement specifically in electrical or electrical engineering sectors.
- Hands-on expertise in procurement of HV and LV Cables / Composite Cables is mandatory.
- Engineering degree required, preferably B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in English and Tamil; Hindi is an advantage.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in managing supplier development and commercial negotiations independently in the electrical materials domain.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical cable specifications and electrical components supporting strategic sourcing decisions.
- Capable of working cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and project teams to meet material and technical requirements efficiently.
