About This Role
- Own end-to-end quality assurance for assigned features in the WebCenter Enterprise Java/J2EE web application, including manual and automated testing.
- Develop, maintain, and improve SAHI-based automation scripts; evaluate additional automation frameworks like Playwright and Selenium.
- Analyze test and CI/CD results to identify defects and automation issues; reduce flaky tests and report quality risks to stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements
- 8+ years professional experience in software QA, test automation, or software development with responsibility for complex web product features.
- Hands-on experience with automated and manual testing, including scripting in JavaScript, Java, or equivalent; proficiency with Git and maintainable coding.
- Practical experience with SAHI, Selenium, Playwright, or similar web test automation frameworks; actual SAHI expertise not mandatory but ability to become productive is.
- Experience integrating automated tests in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, with skills in debugging failures and reporting results.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in risk-based test design and full test lifecycle ownership within Agile/Scrum environments for enterprise-scale Java/J2EE web applications.
- Strong programming and automation framework skills, adept at balancing exploratory, functional, regression, API, and end-to-end testing approaches.
- Capable of independently driving quality initiatives including automation framework improvements and effective quality risk communication with cross-functional teams.
