About This Role
- Develop and maintain AUTOSAR-compliant MCAL drivers for automotive RISC-V MCUs covering multiple peripheral modules.
- Own end-to-end MCAL software lifecycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, hardware bring-up, and debugging using embedded tools.
- Collaborate across SoC architecture, hardware, safety, and validation teams to integrate MCAL with AUTOSAR BSW stacks and support system-level issue resolution.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-6 years of embedded software experience including hands-on AUTOSAR MCAL or low-level driver development.
- Strong programming skills in embedded C with knowledge of memory-mapped I/O, interrupts, concurrency, and linker/startup concepts.
- Experience with MCU subsystems such as clocks, resets, interrupts, DMA, timers, watchdogs, and communication peripherals.
- Familiarity with MISRA C, static code analysis, unit testing, and ISO 26262 software development practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced embedded engineer familiar with AUTOSAR MCAL development for automotive real-time microcontrollers.
- Knows hardware bring-up and debugging using tools like Lauterbach or iSystem and can translate hardware specs to production drivers.
- Able to work across architecture, safety, validation, and software teams for complex SoC integration and provide maintainable, well-tested MCAL components.
