About This Role
- Validate networking and security products by designing and executing comprehensive test plans and automated tests.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through the Software Testing Life Cycle, collaborating with development teams for issue resolution.
- Continuously improve test processes, automation frameworks, and participate in regression and release validation activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
- 2-3 years of software quality assurance experience, preferably with networking, firewall, switch, or security products.
- Hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and CLI/API automation with open-source tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC; Networking background is mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in networking product testing with knowledge of firewall and switch technologies.
- Familiar with automation scripting (e.g., Python, Shell) and Agile development environments.
- Operates effectively in collaborative teams focused on improving software quality and testing efficiency.
