About This Role
- Accountable for reviewing complex customer contracts and amendments to determine appropriate revenue recognition under ASC 606 and Company policy.
- Partner with Deal Desk, Sales, Legal, Finance, and other teams to provide revenue recognition guidance during contracting and support resolution of complex deal-related questions.
- Support development and documentation of revenue recognition policies, assist with compliance, audits, and drive practical application of technical accounting conclusions across business units.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of related Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, CA, ACCA) or progress toward such.
- Experience in revenue accounting in software, SaaS, or technology environment preferred; work experience required explicitly for ASC 606 revenue recognition.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in analyzing complex commercial arrangements and translating technical accounting guidance into practical business advice under ASC 606.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with legal, sales, and finance teams in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Comfortable independently handling multiple concurrent complex tasks with attention to detail and clear communication of technical information.
