About This Role
- Lead multiple software engineering teams within Payments Technology at a major financial institution, managing day-to-day implementation and team output.
- Drive adoption and governance of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and automation to improve delivery speed, quality, and operational outcomes.
- Manage stakeholder relationships ensuring team work meets compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years applied software engineering experience with formal training/certification, plus demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience.
- Experience leading technology projects and managing technologists.
- Proficiency in Full Stack Java development, software development lifecycle (SDLC), automation, continuous delivery, and agile methodologies (CI/CD, application resiliency, security).
- Practical cloud-native experience and in-depth knowledge of financial services IT systems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced manager capable of guiding multiple engineering teams towards adoption of AI-assisted development tools and secure engineering workflows.
- Strong familiarity with responsible AI use, including data sensitivity, security, and governance in software engineering contexts.
