About This Role
- Own architecture and delivery of scalable, high-performance cloud backend services on AWS for enterprise security and AI analytics.
- Provide technical leadership across full project lifecycle including design, implementation, operations, observability, and incident response improvements.
- Apply AI-native development workflows (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate and improve engineering processes, tooling, and quality.
Minimum Requirements
- 12+ years of software development with enterprise-grade backend systems.
- Expert-level Python and strong experience building production backend services and REST APIs.
- Deep experience with AWS cloud architecture and distributed systems fundamentals (scalability, fault tolerance, concurrency).
- BSCS or equivalent degree required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Senior engineer comfortable leading complex, large-scale distributed system architectures in AI, cybersecurity, and cloud environments.
- Proficient with AI-native development workflows, critical evaluation, and enhancement of AI-assisted coding tools.
- Experienced working in fast-paced environments balancing design leadership with urgent operations and continuous engineering improvements.
