About This Role
- Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for a native desktop application deployed on 20M+ Windows and macOS endpoints.
- Lead design and delivery of a high-performance, secure, and reliable client application including full distribution lifecycle (signing, packaging, installation, updates).
- Provide technical leadership across teams, mentor engineers, influence cross-team design, and ensure OS-level integration and security best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in desktop application engineering on Windows and macOS.
- Strong proficiency in C++ with cross-platform desktop application development experience.
- Deep knowledge of Windows and macOS OS APIs and hands-on experience with application distribution lifecycle at scale.
- Work Experience Required: Minimum 7 years in relevant desktop development roles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in leading architecture and technical strategy for large-scale native desktop applications.
- Skilled in performance profiling, memory management, and crash diagnostics for desktop clients.
- Able to collaborate with product, backend, AI/ML teams and influence leadership with clear technical direction.
