About This Role
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing solutions for REST APIs, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, scripts, and tools to enable efficient testing of REST APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8 years of relevant software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in API automation testing.
- Expert-level certification in REST API testing (e.g., REST API TESTING 3 - Expert).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# and experience with automated testing frameworks like RestAssured.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in Agile and DevOps methodologies with understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Capable of leading and mentoring junior team members in best practices and standards for automated testing.
- Skilled in problem-solving for complex issues and implementing creative solutions within automation context.
