About This Role
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot production Mainframe applications environment.
- Design, code, test, debug, and improve complex Mainframe programs using Cobol, JCL, and DB2 following coding standards.
- Assist in application releases and create operational documentation including SOPs; participate in peer reviews and implement methodology process steps.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with WMA/Vantage Product and overall 10-15 years of experience.
- Technical proficiency in Cobol, JCL, DB2, and Mainframe application programming activities.
- Experience in production Mainframe environment support and troubleshooting.
- Life Insurance Domain knowledge preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in complex Mainframe application development and maintenance at a high technical level.
- Familiar with batch and online processing flows and capable of creating operational documentation.
- Able to coordinate application releases and follow defined software development and deployment methodologies.
