About This Role
- Own the delivery of a unified API and developer platform for Zscaler products focusing on standardization, governance, and developer experience.
- Lead creation and refinement of API development and integration processes, tools, and methodologies across the product portfolio.
- Drive design and implementation of a scalable, highly available, observable, and operable distributed API platform.
Minimum Requirements
- 10+ years experience in architecture, design, and development of API frameworks and technologies.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Java, C++, Rust, JavaScript, etc).
- Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience with AI-driven solutions in your domain.
- Experience creating SDKs and designing APIs following API-first design principles.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in cloud-scale API platform architecture and distributed systems with focus on scalability and availability.
- Able to collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and engineering teams to develop external-facing product roadmaps.
- Comfortable driving technical initiatives with a balance between high-level strategy and hands-on execution in ambiguous and dynamic environments.
