About This Role
- Develop, deploy, and support CAD (Computer-Aided Design) solutions for BackEnd Digital Design across the company’s portfolio, focusing on chip design methodologies.
- Own parts of the overall CAD solution with global customer engagement and collaboration, including feature engineering, model development, and demonstrating impact on performance, power, area (PPA), and productivity.
- Lead hands-on AI/ML technology development and debugging within digital design flows, including use of industry EDA tools, and manage collaboration with offshore/outsourcing partners and vendors.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 15+ years of experience in AI/ML software/model development related to design/EDA/CAD teams.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Tcl, Perl, and Python for AI/ML tool development integrated into digital design flows.
- Experience and knowledge in digital implementation and signoff methodologies for MCU and HPC designs.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven track record developing AI Agents, Agentic AI, Generative AI, and ML solutions specifically for RTL to GDS digital design flows.
- Experience operating in global, cross-functional teams involving offshore partners and vendor management for CAD/EDA tools.
- Ability to propose and drive innovative, leading-edge CAD solutions that improve chip design metrics and end-user experience.
