About This Role
- Lead design and delivery of complex cloud-native platform components, owning them through production operation.
- Serve as technical lead for major features, translating ambiguous problems into scalable designs.
- Drive reliability, scalability, and engineering excellence; maintain hands-on involvement in developing Kubernetes operators, controllers, and platform services.
Minimum Requirements
- 14+ years experience in designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native platforms.
- Hands-on experience developing Kubernetes Operators, Admission Controllers, or platform extensions using Kubebuilder or Operator Framework.
- Proven experience operating managed (EKS, AKS, GKE) and self-managed Kubernetes environments at scale.
- Proficiency in Go for software engineering, particularly with Kubernetes Operators, Controllers, CRDs, and platform automation capabilities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience owning complex technical initiatives end-to-end including architecture, design, deployment, and operational support in cloud-native environments.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes architecture and operating stateful, mission-critical workloads such as data services or databases on Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD, GitOps, Infrastructure-as-Code tools, and implementing observability and reliability best practices.
