About This Role
- Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for automotive infotainment systems including multimedia, connectivity, navigation, and HMI features.
- Develop and maintain Python-based test automation frameworks and perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing on hardware platforms and simulators.
- Analyze software requirements, debug defects, track issues through defect management tools, and collaborate with development teams throughout Agile processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Minimum Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Automotive Infotainment Testing.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python with proven experience in Python-based test automation.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
- Experience working in a cross-functional and global engineering environment; Work location: On-site, 5 days a week.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in validating automotive infotainment features like Media, Connectivity, Navigation, Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Voice, and HMI.
- Familiar with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet), Linux and Android-based infotainment platforms, and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).
- Comfortable working within Agile development teams and capable of handling debugging, root cause analysis, and stakeholder management in a global engineering context.
