About This Role
- Perform end-to-end quality assurance testing of Power BI reports and dashboards before UAT and production release.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source systems, data models, and report outputs, including data reconciliation and root cause analysis.
- Develop, execute, and document test plans, collaborate with BI Engineers, and ensure adherence to BI standards and governance before stakeholder release.
Minimum Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Quality Assurance within a BI or data environment.
- Hands-on experience testing Power BI reports and dashboards; experience with Tableau or Looker is a plus.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience creating/executing test cases, QA documentation, defect tracking, and familiarity with UAT processes and agile delivery environments.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in BI QA with strong analytical skills to identify data and logic issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with BI Engineers, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders in agile environments.
- Detail-oriented with expertise in BI data models, ETL processes, release workflows, and a focus on data quality and governance.
