About This Role
- Manage and monitor networking operations including IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and VPN tunnel setup to ensure system reliability.
- Debug and optimize Python scripts, perform file parsing and data transformations using Pandas to support operational workflows and insights.
- Design, maintain, and optimize MySQL databases and implement communication protocols (OPC, MODBUS, DNP3, IEC, ODBC, API, FTP) while collaborating cross-functionally and leading operational improvements.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics & Communications, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in operations engineering or system engineering.
- Proficiency in Python debugging and experience with file parsing and Pandas for data handling.
- Strong foundation in networking concepts (ping, routing, IP, VPN) and solid understanding of MySQL querying and read/write operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience working with industrial communication protocols such as OPC, MODBUS, and IEC in large-scale distributed or cloud environments.
- Ability to independently lead operational initiatives and act as L2 escalation point for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Domain knowledge or experience in Photovoltaics (PV), Wind, or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) advantageous.
