Structured overview of role & requirements
About This Role
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure with automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Take end-to-end ownership of production systems including troubleshooting complex issues and participating in on-call support and root-cause analysis.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code and automation-first practices, create reusable tools, and continuously improve platform reliability, security, and developer experience.
Minimum Requirements
- 8–12 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, AWS Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, SRE or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, EBS, S3, VPC, Transit Gateway, Security Groups, AWS CodePipeline, and CodeBuild.
- Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills including shell scripting, plus strong networking fundamentals.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions; strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, Java, or Bash.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Engineer with a strong builder mindset focused on automation-first and solving complex infrastructure problems rather than just operating systems.
- Experienced owner of production systems with proven strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering teams to enhance reliability, scalability, security and developer productivity in cloud-native environments.
