About This Role
- Manage end-to-end procurement cycle for spares of multiple Wind Turbine Generator OEMs including RFQ issuance, quotation evaluation, negotiation, and PO release.
- Source and develop local and global suppliers, negotiate commercial terms including pricing, delivery, payment, warranties, and handle related procurement financial instruments like Bank Guarantees.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, and Safety teams to ensure timely procurement, support audits, and manage procurement via SAP MM.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
- 4-8 years of relevant work experience in procurement of wind turbine spares across multiple OEM fleets.
- Proficiency in SAP MM module is mandatory.
- Experience in commercial negotiation, knowledge of Indian contract law clauses, and familiarity with import-export processes and financial instruments like Bank Guarantees.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced in wind industry supply chain and procurement of wind turbine spares for multiple OEMs such as Gamesa, ReGen, and Inox.
- Comfortable working in a digital, process-driven environment with strong execution and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Willing to travel to project sites and vendor locations, with proven ability to handle audits (QMS, EMS, Safety) and complex commercial negotiations.
