About This Role
- Own and leverage GIS tools such as Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and QGIS to manage and analyze spatial data.
- Interpret satellite imagery using platforms like ERDAS Imagine or Google Earth Engine to generate actionable insights.
- Support fact-driven decision-making by converting spatial data into accurate, insightful information within Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience with advanced mastery of GIS tools including Esri ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and QGIS.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Urban Planning, Geomatics, or Cartography.
- Work on-site in Kolkata location.
- Experience with satellite imagery interpretation using ERDAS Imagine or Google Earth Engine.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experienced GIS specialist comfortable with both commercial and open-source GIS tools.
- Skilled in handling and interpreting spatial and satellite data for industry solution use cases.
- Capable of driving insight generation for strategic decision-making in a technology and data-driven consulting environment.
